Why you won’t achieve your goals in 2020

The start of a new year comes with new resolutions that are unlikely to be achieved.  The main reason why you won’t achieve your goals in 2020 is that you don’t believe in yourself. Most people have a poor person mentality and want to make sure that they have a back-up plan if their original one fails. On the other hand, rich people don’t have a problem achieving their goals because they know that they deserve success. They believe in their abilities and don’t dwell on their insecurities. Whether you have a business or not, understanding your value and worth is still incredibly important in life. To achieve your goals should not be something you could achieve someday. They are something you should and plan to achieve.

Achieve Your Goals

Setting goals means you are taking charge and control of your life. You are NOT having life take control of you. Hundreds of experimental studies have been done and they have all proved that: that goal setting increases significantly the success rate in any area of life in which it is applied. Here are 5 Proven Ways that you can Set and Achieve your Goals.

  1. Align your Goals with your Purpose

When setting your goals, go for your deepest dreams. Don’t let the voice inside your head tell you “it’s impossible”. Because if you don’t set that goal, you will never do what you were put on earth to do.

  1. Keep your Goals Visible

It is extremely important to have a written plan for what you have set yourself to achieve and how you plan to get to get there. You should also look at that plan often. It is easy to get distracted.  Looking back at your goals will remind of the destination in the midst of all the distractions. Review your goals and track your progress.

  1. Accountability Partner or System

If you set goals and don’t share them with anyone, it’s no big deal if you don’t achieve them since you were the only person who knew about your secret goal.  An accountability system ties your goal to a person, community or public who will hold you accountable.

  1. Worthy of your Life

Your goal must be worthy of your life enough. Because when you face obstacles and challenges on your path, you must find the motivation to keep going. If a goal is “not that important to you”, you will not do what it takes to achieve it.

  1. Anticipate Roadblocks

Your journey will not be easy.  You will be faced with challenges and obstacles on the way to your goal. Prepare yourself mentally to meet obstacles. You will also need to find the means and resources to overcome them.
