I’m Roger Keys, Founder and CEO of Marketing Keys.
During my 20 year executive run with media companies, I had noticed that if an advertiser wasn't properly represented with a media expert helping them with their media planning and buying, then that company was at a disadvantage.
After decades of learning my craft from the top respected media companies in the world like Cap Cities/ABC, The Walt Disney Company and others, I saw an opportunity. Marketing Keys was formed in July, 2007 to more than level the negotiation playing field between advertisers and media companies. We enabled advertisers to have a major leg up in the process.
By leveraging our media experience, our relationships along with cutting edge ideas, we have been able to help generate an incremental 30-35% more in leads and/or conversions for our clients through our programs.
We started Marketing Keys with a simple mission. Help Presidents, CEOs', Marketing Directors, CMOs, Regional Managers and others create the most well thought out, efficient and effective media campaigns.
The companies that we partner with are mainly small and medium sized businesses in various B2C and B2B verticals. They generate anywhere from 5 million to 100 million dollars a year in revenue.
The reason we do what we do is two-fold. One, we have a passion for strategic planning along with professional media placement. In a professional sense, it is truly all we know. Historically, Quit Smoking campaigns use scare tactics. You may have seen them on TV in the past. Black Lungs. Skeletons. Head stones at cemeteries. We tried a different approach. And the results? Off the charts! Why not tug at a smoker’s heart through their kids? Have their children remind them of all the important events and milestones they will miss if they continue to smoke. The result? This campaign stamped out a lot of cigarettes! How many? We can't put an exact number on it but we can tell you this. The ALA’s call center in Springfield, IL was ringing off the hook during the campaign! We increased the number of annual calls to 866-Quit-Yes from 10,000/year to over 90,000/year, as this video aired both online and offline throughout the state of Illinois.
